John Paul Gachina

in loving memory
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved leader, husband and father John Gachina. John passed away peacefully at his home on December 27, 2015 surrounded by his loving family and the love of the Gachina Landscape Family. We miss John’s passion for life and his energy.
The landscape industry lost one of its pioneering icons. Gachina Landscape Management lost a leader and an amazing human being. John truly enriched the life of everyone and everything he touched. There are no words that can adequately express our sadness of John’s death or the gratitude for his friendship and the opportunity to work along side of him. He leaves behind a strong company and organization of passionate employees that will honor his memory by dedicating themselves to continue the work and service he loved so much. He is missed and remains in our hearts; never to be forgotten.
Gachina Landscape Management will remain a family-owned business under the continued leadership of the Gachina Landscape Management leadership team.
Contributions in memory of John may be made to JobTrain or through CLCA. A LEAF-Legacy scholarship has been established in John’s honor through the California Landscape Contractors Association. The scholarship will be awarded to an active student with a horticulture / landscape management major at a California State University, College or Junior / Community College.
