Plant of the week 5.16 – 5.20 ~ Creeping Bobialla / Myoporum

Creeping Bobialla / MyoporumPlant of the week 5.16 – 5.20 ~ Creeping Bobialla / Myoporum ~ Myoporum parvifolium is an evergreen ground cover with low to medium water requirements and thrives in full sun.  Other Myoporum are shrubs/trees which have been greatly impacted by the species specific Myoporum Thrips, which are very difficult to control.  The groundcover is less effected than the shrubs/trees, and are still planted widely in our landscapes.  Myoporum have tiny white or pink flowers in the summer. Natural pruning is recommended; after some years in the landscape, this plant will become woody.  At this point, we perform restorative pruning, or remove and replace for a fresh, green look.

To the Gachina Family—

At this time of year, I look back and remember why I am grateful.

It is because of all the people in my life who support and encourage me.
It is because of you.

I am grateful that this amazing and diverse group of people found their way to this company. You are the reason why the leadership, the client relationships, the quality of service, the cooperation and engagement is second to none. You have many reasons to be proud.
