Our integrated ‘smart’ water management program can provide our clients with techniques to help conserve water and reduce water waste. We install sensors, timers, and flow meters to monitor and regulate irrigation systems so that water is only being used when necessary–saving our clients hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars on their water bills. In addition to these services, we create optimal water budgets for each client that establishes the expected amount of water a site will need in any given time period, and takes into account historical weather data, the size of the area in acres or square feet, and other factors to ensure that we are abiding with the strict California water regulations.

Water management also includes the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure that they are working efficiently, and effectively.

Water Management Solutions

  • ArcGIS Pro Mapping

    This technology allows our irrigation managers to create and maintain accurate maps of irrigation infrastructure such as canals, ditches, pipes, pumps, and sprinklers. We can then manage water resources effectively by using data sources, all while monitoring real-time irrigation operations and making optimized water management decisions.

  • Smart Controllers

    We advise all of our clients to upgrade to smart irrigation controllers to manage their irrigations systems. This advanced technology allows us to use weather data, soil moisture sensors, flow meters, and app-based remote controls to track water usage, provide data-driven reports, optimize water usage, track water savings, and comply with local regulations.

  • Drip Irrigation

    Drip irrigation systems offer many benefits, but most importantly water conservation as it minimizes evaporation and runoff. It involves delivering water directly to the plant roots at a slow and steady rate through a system of tubes, emitters, and valves. When water is used effectively and efficiently it results in significant water savings.

  • Micro Sprinklers

    Our team uses micro sprinklers for small-scale irrigation applications where precise and efficient water distribution is necessary. They provide targeted watering and can be adjusted to suit specific watering needs. They can be used in both commercial and residential landscapes.

Customized Irrigation

Currently, we have over 1,000 irrigation maps available to us on the ArcGIS Pro system and these can be accessed by all of our irrigation technicians on their company iPhones. We can collect and edit irrigation-related data for each client’s property, create and manage a geodatabase that contains the information, and make custom PDFs or web maps for clients that contain pertinent irrigation information.
